Villa Baccus is a lovely apartment situated on the first floor of a beautiful villa located on the outskirts of the village of Marciano della Chiana, an ancient medieval village that still preserves its tower and the mighty walls of its fortress which still bear witness to the former greatness of the ancient times.
The villa has been recently completed and equipped in a modern style with quality furniture and electrical appliances to ensure guests a comfortable stay. Particular attention has been paid to the use of ecological building methods, such as floor heating and cooling and a photovoltaic plant, in order to save energy .
The owners, who live on the ground floor of the house, but with independent entrance, ensure privacy and collaboration to their guests if needed. They have run, a famous restaurant in France for many years and are willing to cook typical Tuscan dishes for their guests, on request.
Villa Baccus is the ideal accommodation for those who wish to relax in the countryside but also want a small town nearby with shops and services for the daily shopping.
From the house and front garden, guests can relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside with olive groves, vineyards, fields and in the distance, the famous town of Cortona.
History and culture lovers will love organizing several visits to the most important tourist destinations such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Castiglion del Lago and many other destinations.
INTERIOR

FIRST FLOOR: access to the large room- living room with double sofa bed , SAT-TV, fireplace, dining table and a fully equipped modern kitchen. From the living-room, access to a covered terrace, ideal for summer evenings and a larger terrace, with views of the pool and the valley below, which has been equipped with a built-in barbecue, table and chairs for “al fresco” meals (this terrace is also reachable from of the bedrooms).The sleeping area is composed by a double bedroom with access to the large terrace, a second double bedroom , n . 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub and n . 1 bathroom with shower.

EXTERIORAccess through an electric gate to the fully fenced property . The well-kept garden with various flowers and Mediterranean plants is completed with a wooden gazebo, with table and chairs, ideal for outdoor meals or just relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the location. POOLThe beautiful pool measures 6 x 14 m, depth 1.00 to 1.60 m and is located in front of the villa with a panoramic view over the Chiana Valley. The outdoor area is equipped with sun beds, sun umbrellas to allow relaxing sunbathing as well as a warm water outdoor shower.Occasionally, the pool can be used by the owners but their discreet presence doesn’t interfere with guests in any way. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
